Finding Scholarly Articles
The Library has access to approximately 100 databases.
These databases with communication holdings are full text and entirely scholarly:
- JSTOR
- Project Muse
- SAGE Journals Online (trial database available through November 30, 2007)
- Communication and Mass Media Complete
- Academic Search Premier
- WilsonSelectPlus
- Sociological Abstracts
In databases that contain only some or no full-text articles, don't forget to click on the
link to find out what access the Library has to an article whose full text is not included in that database.
Other Tips
Google Scholar can be used to supplement database searching and may provide citations to useful articles (or books).
Be sure to look at the bibliography of any source that you find useful. It might include references to relevant articles (or other resources).
