Learn how to locate the printed article or online full text from a citation in a reference list (using the Journals search) or in a database (using the Find It button), and learn when and how to request via interlibrary loan.

Most disciplines have specialized databases, such as ERIC, MLA, Sociological
Abstracts and PsycINFO. They are more complicated but often provide better
search results and citations in scholarly journals.
WebFeat
Price: 10 - 15 minutes
Learn the advantages and limitations to searching many databases at once using WebFeat.
Interlibrary Loan (for articles)
Price: 10 minutes
Teaches students how to use the online Interlibrary Loan system to request journal articles from other libraries.
Distinguishing Between Popular and Scholarly Journals
Price: 15 minutes
Show students the differences between academic and popular periodicals, and what does "peer reviewed" mean. Especially helpful for undergraduates
who have never seen a scholarly journal before.
Google Scholar
Price: 15-20 minutes
Students learn about the benefits and limitations of using Google Scholar.
Evaluating Web sites
Price: 20-30 minutes
Including but not limited to Wikipedia, students will engage in a discussion of the characteristics of credible websites, including authority, timeliness and objectivity.
Citation (goes well with Evaluating Websites, above)

Teaches the students the basics of a citation style of your choice of these options: MLA, APA or Chicago style.
RefWorks
Price: 15 minutes
Students will see how to import citations into RefWorks from databases, create a bibliography in Word, share citations.
